Community Partnerships
It is important to help others and volunteer our time and resources. Here are some of the community partnerships Common Ground is a part of:
Shalom Shop
The Shalom Shop is a thrift store in Cambridge that is run completely by volunteers. All of their profits go back into the community.
Narcotics Anonymous
Several Narcotics Anonymous groups use Common Ground for their meeting space. Check out our calendar to see meeting times and locations.
Path to Home
Along with other area churches, Common Ground partners with New Pathways to host families experiencing homelessness in our building four times a year. During our hosting weeks our volunteers provide meals and are available for other needs the families may have.
School Partnership
Common Ground has developed a partnership with the Cambridge Isanti High School right down the street. We are always looking for ways that we can support the students and staff. In the past this has ranged from providing emergency help to students to putting together welcome bags for the staff at the beginning of the year.
Food Shelf
Common Ground collects food year round for the Isanti County Food Shelf. In addition Common Ground has hosted food drives for the Family Pathways food shelf. Both of these serve critical needs in our community, and donations are needed at any time.
Home Delivered Meals
One week each month Common Ground members volunteer to drive meals to those who are homebound and unable to provide meals for themselves.
