All are welcome – we hope you can join us!
Claudia Schmidt and Ann Reed have loved each
other’s music for decades, played in a lot of the
same venues but never at the same time. That
changed a few years ago when they took to the
stage together at Crooners and were off and
running. With their distinctive approaches to
writing, their shared love of the 12 string guitar,
their sturdy voices and great harmonic sense (not
to mention vast senses of humor!), Claudia and
Ann create an intimate show that delights and
moves anyone lucky enough to be in the audience.
Songwriter, singer, guitarist Ann Reed has been
performing for more than 40 years with her rich,
dark-chocolate voice, storytelling from the human
experience, and songs that find a permanent place
in the heart. Claudia Schmidt has been perfecting
her craft of per forming for more than five decades.
It is a quirky and wonderful hodge-podge (her
word!) of music, poetry, story, laughter, drama,
and celebration of every moment, be it hilarious or poignant.
