Join us on Saturday, April 11th at 7:00 pm for the 8th installment of the “Stompin’ Grounds Coffee Concert” in the fellowship hall at Common Ground!
Proceeds from the concert will go to the Minnesota Interfaith Coalition on Immigration (ICOM). The ICOM is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that engages in courageous spiritual, multicultural action in solidarity with immigrants and refugees to achieve justice and stand up to systems of oppression. The show will feature two sets by “Group Therapy” (Susan, Rob, LaDonna, Julie, & Frank) the eclectic boomer band that bears more than a passing resemblance to our Common Ground Combo. We’ll be playing hits and deep cuts from several decades of rock, blues, roots, jazz, country, and more. Between the two sets will be songs from other Common Ground musicians and friends, including Fendrick & Peck, Jacob White, Denise Tillges, Tony Harris, Grace Larson, Tessa Larson, Wesley Larson, Rocky Wilson, Paula Schluck, Rich Rose, Erin Olson, Lyndy Zabel, Alan Husby, Heidi Scheidecker, and the Common Ground Choir.
Come on out for some coffee, delicious treats, great music, and wonderful people, at the same time helping to support immigrant families in Minnesota!
